Human Rights Day

Human Rights Day celebrated annually across the world on 10 December.Today, poverty prevails as the gravest human rights challenge in the world. Combating poverty, deprivation and exclusion is not a matter of charity, and it does not depend on how rich a country is. By tackling poverty as a matter of human rights obligation, the world will have a better chance of abolishing this scourge in our lifetime.

Yellow Watermelon!!

A yellow watermelon is a fruit that is nearly identical to a traditional watermelon, but the flesh

inside is a bright yellow color instead of red or pink. The taste is also very similar, though some say it has a sweeter or more honey-like taste.

Amazing baby Amazon Milk Frog

Amazing baby AmazonMilk Frog!

The Amazon Milk frog is a beautiful species of treefrog that has only been available in the UK for a short period of time. The species has been available to keepers in other countries a little longer. They are of similar appearance to Whites treefrogs (Litoria caerulea) in their build, they are heavy bodied and stocky with a certain level of cute dumpiness. They are also of a similar adult size, around 6-10cm. The colours and patterns differ though, although variable, the majority seen in captivity in the UK are grey and black with a bluish tinge. They are exceptionally beautiful as babies, the grey is replaced with a silvery white. They have a white milk like (hence the name) secretion that is thought to be poisonous and used as a defence.
