Amazing baby Amazon Milk Frog

Amazing baby AmazonMilk Frog!

The Amazon Milk frog is a beautiful species of treefrog that has only been available in the UK for a short period of time. The species has been available to keepers in other countries a little longer. They are of similar appearance to Whites treefrogs (Litoria caerulea) in their build, they are heavy bodied and stocky with a certain level of cute dumpiness. They are also of a similar adult size, around 6-10cm. The colours and patterns differ though, although variable, the majority seen in captivity in the UK are grey and black with a bluish tinge. They are exceptionally beautiful as babies, the grey is replaced with a silvery white. They have a white milk like (hence the name) secretion that is thought to be poisonous and used as a defence.

Moon Meets Morning Star

~Moon Meets Morning Star~

Rising in the dark hours before dawn, wandering Venus now shines as the brilliant morning star. Its close conjunction with the Moon on August 13 was appreciated around planet Earth. But skygazers in eastern Asia were also treated to a lunar occultation , the waning crescent Moon passing directly in front of the bright planet in still dark skies. This composite image constructed from frames made at 10 minute intervals follows the celestial performance (vimeo video) from above the city lights and clouds over Taebaek, Korea. The occultation begins near the horizon and progresses as the pair rises. Venus first disappears behind the Moon's sunlit crescent, emerging before dawn from the dark lunar limb .

BUBBLE EYED GOLDFISH

AMAZING BUBBLE EYED GOLDFISH...

The Bubble Eye is a small variety of fancy goldfish with upward pointing eyes that are accompanied by two large fluid-filled sacs. It is a dorsal-less fish, and good specimens will have a clean back and eye bubbles well matched for colour and size. The bubbles are fragile and the fish should be kept separately from boisterous types and away from sharp tank decor, although the bubbles will regrow if punctured. Given proper accommodation, the bubbles do not disadvantage the fish[citation needed] and they become very tame. It is known as suihogan in Japan.

The Bhumibol Bridge

The Bhumibol Bridge

The Bhumibol Bridge also known as the Industrial Ring Road Bridge
, is part of the 13 km long Industrial Ring Road connecting southern Bangkok with Samut Prakan Province . The bridge crosses the Chao Phraya River
twice, with two striking cable-stayed spans of lengths of 702 m and 582 m supported by two diamond-shaped pylons 173 m and 164 m high. Where the two spans meet, another road rises to join them at a free-flowing interchange suspended 50 metres above the ground.
